The long range and loud noise of the Big Bertha can be used for a little psychological warfare. Scout the enemy base. Have the Big Bertha shell the enemy base and prepare for a heavy attack. If they have an army, they will send it to your defences in a last ditch attack. If you've prepared enough, their army will be destroyed and you can mop up their base with your army. If they don't have an army, keep shelling and destroy their base.
