LVrankSenaven, ofc you might do so. but generally speaking, keep in mind it is a teamgame/host, so organizing players responsibilities might add to the probability to win.

4/4 air players might be a risky strategy, if not organized -.-

I just know that we already lost that game because they outecoed us. North was lost. South was almost lost. Enemy air has air sup because more fighters then me. If i send my air in most situation would be just suicide. Then i also will be blamed.
But in this game best enemy player was air. So he cant use his all potential attack on ground. I think that game failed because north heavy fac player dont expand. I cant with lower resource count guard air space and also support with emp.

You don't care about RUrankbanana_Ai's frustrating experience?

There is big difference betwen trolling and skill failing while work for team. Trolling is for themselves while my skill fail is my incompetence.
I dont care about blind people experence. If he dont understand why this all happens then that isnt really my problem at all and i should not feel fault.
Don't interprete my thoughts as you like. I know peoples like this kind very good. It doesn't work on me.

Why do people feel the need to blame like this?

I have 200 elo on him. He wasn't expected to win. On top of which, my team had a bigger income the entire time, I simply had more planes. Instead of trying to establish blame, you need to look at what actually went wrong.

LVrankSenaven

What I see:

1) If you lose air, making bombers is useless, no matter how much your team bawws. Either focus on getting air back, or give it up and do something else like eco or provide endgame.

2) Big map = swifts are better than hawks. There's certainly an argument for mixing them, but not until larger numbers. Swifts are also better for soft ground control (gave me several free scorchers that game).

3) In this situation wind was a better choice than solar.

4) Not taking the reclaim near your start location until later cost you.

5) (and I did this too) There were unclaimed mex near you, which could have given your team an edge over ours since we fell victim to bystander effect too.

6) Despite all these things you could improve on, by far the biggest issue here was that your team lost ground and thus were out-expanded. Forcegod is only 1350 but captured all of North for free. This economic advantage snowballed air, mid, and bottom. You do what you can to help but as air player you do have limited control.

See how none of this criticism was personal? Instead of just telling people they're bad you can open up discussion on what the mistakes were with a focus on improving. This flaming bullshit has to stop, especially when the criticism is misdirected.

Eh. LVrankSenaven, I am sorry. I was so frustrated after losing and I mainly due to air.

I will interprete your thoughts as I please. I'm human and I have a right to freedom of mind and to a lesser effect, freedom to share my thoughts just as much as you do. When you post something on here that's posing a moral question be prepared to face criticism and other views. You can't say "Oh put others first when trying to experience things" then turn around and make it look like you're putting your experience above your team's experience. Skill fail is no different than not wanting to play at your fullest. Both present frustrating situations to other people. And forcing people to play at their fullest because it ruins your game is morally dubious.

Like it or not:
We are here to enjoy this game for ourselves first. I'm not here to make your day good because I play well, I'm here because I enjoy playing the game. I don't think to myself "Hey, I think I'll play some Zero-K so my team feels good for 5 minutes". Do you think that? If you don't, you do not follow what you preach.

Human nature states we will put ourselves first and it is healthy to put ourselves first. On the moral side: if we should not do something depends on the impact of our actions.

Fucking around on an online game has 0 short term (>20 minutes) impact. You aren't losing money, your significant other won't leave you because you lost a game (if they threaten this, they are not worth it anyways), you won't lose your home, your family isn't in danger because you lost. So why are you making a huge fucking deal over a stupid game? In fact you're more likely to forget why you were upset within the first hour. The only impact there is is the one you make it. If you choose to blow it out of proportion and be angry over it, you're going to be miserable and stressed. If you stop caring about a game's outcome as much, you'll enjoy the beauty of the moment more. It ultimately doesn't matter. If you believe it truly matters, you have a seriously flawed sense of proportion and should change your outlook on it.

The vocal majority may be a bunch of tryhards whining, but the true majority lies in the people who want to play the game and don't care about the outcome as much as you do. And this behaviour is actually harming Zero-K more than any "silly" player will in their lifetime.

Evidence:
As the vocal majority whines about a new "OP" unit (they can't counter), it gets nerfed into oblivion and no longer sees a lot of use.

Example:
Ships.
Singu.

As the vocal majority whines about newbies, more hostile solutions will come up. These newbie-hostile solutions will limit player retention just so "veterans can have a nice game". Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the name say "All Welcome" on a majority of these hosts?

Using "tryhards" as an insult is something I'll never get used to.
+0 / -0
Who says it is an insult? It is merely a name of one of many factions in the social landscape of zero-k. I'm just saying, people need to quit whining around here as much, it's only harming the game/community. The sorry state of the game right now is all of our faults.

The bickering, complaining, whining, raging, trolling, etc needs to all come to a stop if we want a bigger community. It's old and tired now. Time to wake up folks, the ship's starting to sink and we need to do emergency repairs before it sinks to the bottom.
