please tell me i'm not the only person that agrees that moderators need a serious buff. despite costing 240 to make, they have only 480 hp and only do 680 damage per shot (slow damage is fine). they either need


1. increased hp (600-800)
2. hp regen (10 hp/s)

3. increased range (600 elmos. 420 is extremely small, making it vulnerable to most skirmisher, assault, and support units)
4. decreased cost (240 for a unit that dies almost instantly in a battle is horrible. 150)

Idk those moderators are my worst nightmare. I rarely play other factories than air,but they have insane kite potential,hit-and-run strategy.Also placeholders are their best buddies,a moderator+placeholder will make you experience the pain.Its just that jumps are full with micro hungry units,and thats why they are hard,they need to cover up each other weaknesses

Also ravens cannot even bomb dat shit,really,those moderators just look at my poor planes and they just fall from the sky.

I was doing really well in a game vs esainane until he demonstrated what good moderator + placeholder micro can do and set me back home with my ass in a sling, a chocolate cookie and a pat on the head. Moderator is just fine. The problem is with the operator ;)

Isn't moderator already ridiculous? Instant hit, 100% accuracy, no means of glancing hits. This is the face of cancer. It is not enjoyable to fight. Other skirms can be dodged. A moderator cannot. Longer range would make this cancerous. 600 is quite long range. I dont want to play against long range crap that can instantly murder stuff with perfect accuracy.

please learn how to use units before you say they are bad. Jumpbots would never be used if they didn't have moderators, they are literally good against just about every unit. They are also my worst nightmare, like shaman said decent accuracy that murders every unit in range and are so fast they can kite most units.

Plain lies. Jacks are extremely good against porc, juugglenaut crushes almost everything lightweight and is a best counter to crabs, pyros and toads are more than good for their roles also. Jumpbots are good even without moderators.

I would even say that Jugglenaut solely are good reason enought to switchfac for jumpbots, given right place and time. Juggle can boost your metal income considerably in right cicrumstance by using pulling gravity, so that wrecks of enemy come into reach for your caretakers.

You can't judge units based purely on stats. Instantaneous hitting with perfect accuracy is a pretty sweet ability. Most units are a far shot from that, so their damage output looks inflated in comparison.
