I kind of feel that this map is lacking flavor.

1: Center is very flat. Will end up as a tank map and most of metal is in center.

2: The water is too disconnected to be good for amphs. Partly submerged pathways with can be used by ships would help this.

3: The hills are a bit noisy and repetitive.

What do other people think should this map be featured?

nah jasper, tanks are fine in middle and can attack sides but its nowhere near a tank map. at sides they only can rush in and kill stuff on the low ground but you can exspect side players to have spiders to attack from the hills, plus the pathways are rather small so tanks have a big disadvantage there. also there are 1 big mex on each side, so there are actually 3 areas of interest, and the puddle mexes are somewhat disconnected from those areas too.

the pools arent interconnected because i wanted the pathways to allow for fast travel, for exactly the reason that tanks/veh can attack at sides - while amph would have to surface to travel over shallow water anyway, and ships werent planned (and not gonna happen :P). still you can use amphs or hovers nicely, to bypass porces at middle or sides, or attack from inside the water.

imo its my best map so far, gameplay wise.

maybe middle should have shallow water lines to slow vec pushes? that would be awsome. (not enough for amphs to submerge or stuff)

but why would you want to slow veh pushes? no reason to use them at all, if they cant move properly...

Don't use Sumo on this map. It gets stuck in a hole it makes while landing a jump.

This could be like a real spider swamp.

Also I feel like top and bottom middle get too many mex.

The hills and the mexes on them should be reworked a bit I think. There was one mex that could only be killed by a redback, all other spiders failed. There are some serious pathing issues in the hilly areas too.

Perhaps lower them a little and give them flatter tops? Make sure that the mexes are then on the (flat) top and not halfway down the flank.
