Killer, point is not a 100% bonus to damage, but 50% reduction of reload of weapon. Still, DPS is the same.

Sniper rifle
(sniper can have max of 2700 dmg on one rifle, but 12s reload => 225 dps per rifle. Full damage assault cannon gives you 297dps per cannon. [Calculated w/o -50% reload / x2 dmg output])
In term of DPS on normal weapons (no flame, no heatray) Assault cannon have best DPS in game. But is useless aganist raiders. Esp. when swapped to arty.
Well, maybe can count Shotgun in. But except for largest units or standing at range of almost zero, you would never hit all the pellets.
And yes, i screwed up a bit maths. Forgot to count in base damage that is 100%. So it would be 430% by weapon+modules, so assault cannon would get roughly 1550dmg per hit. And would have AoE.
At silly stuff : Second module should multiply output damage by x2, not to give +100% dmg. That would be a shot in the knee.
