Widget to autoshare metal/overflow to selected person(s) only.

depending on my playstyle, i tend to overflow metal. microing skuttles and blowing @[troll]sfireman 's trollcom and stuff. i experienced that clanmates which are great at makro are magically propelled and win their front when i donate them my metal on a regular basis (instead of throwing it at the nabstack).


does this already exist? can someone make it please? i skuttle whoever you tell me as a gift!

Ooh, I asked for thet before. Someone made it for me, though I never really tested it. There you go.

Shares excess metal to the highest elo player. If I read the code correctly then it only shares to players with less than 100m in store.

Understandable why players want such widget, and can see why it can make a team play more efficient.
But does it not go against idea of zK communism-shared-eco? (yesyes, communism shares income but the widget shares stored metal - but still)
Think better would be instead to improve how the shared-eco distributes metal.
For example players with no stored metal could recieve more income than a player who has almost full storage. A player who stores metal over some limit (say 500) might even not recieve no metal at all, until other players are no longer stalling.
That would be for the large teamgames. For 2v2-3v3 games (where you can "trust" your team more) the most efficient share-methode is imo spring's default "share slider."

But that means nubs who spam 9001 Caretakers will get most income. That means they memorize "who needs mexes? Caretakers = FTW".

I am using this widget which is included in other version of deluxe player list and do not want to miss it.
Whatever you forgot other nice features, like share X amount of metal / energy with doubleclick on metal bar / energy bar to player in list. (amount can be set via space and click on player list)
Doubelclick on icon next to player name shares selected units.
Doubeclick on playername sends private message.

Players who store 500 metal already don't receive any more metal (unless they build Storage). I think equal distribution being the default is the most fair as custom distribution can be achieved by coordinated players using wupgets. Making Storage only receive income metal when the whole team overflows the base storage sounds okay, but it'd make Storage even more of a noob trap.
