Most efficient con based metal is rector/convict I think, providing .0011 m/s / m.
Compared to the .0014 m/s / m of caretakers. This makes them about 22% less efficient than caretakers.

Not counting Nano (.001363), Conch is the best (.001250), followed by Weaver / Mariner (.001125).

I've been massing the wrong unit in teamgames. PLrankAdminSprung has enlightened us!

Remember when Mariner was 10bp? Better than Caretakers! Also remember Weaver has a 1200 range radar (regular one is 2100)! Clearly the best base builder on land. Now if just it wasn't so fat (3x3), it could actually fit through small windgenfarm spacing.

One of the most boring game ever seen.. Evene speed metal is better. :(

Convicts/Conjurers lose to weavers and conches, but have better mob utility if you feel like risking your ecofarm to instabuild porc.

In practice, the exponential nature of innate-income swarms makes caretakers uncontested even despite risk of chainsplosion and requiring space.

Correction: uncontested in practice compared to other innate income eco spams, e.g. on no-metal maps.

Hmm, can (not completely) reclaimed units still leave resurrectable wreckages? If yes then that's better than Caretakers. If no then I'll have to send a builder with all my striders from now on.

Nanoframe death does not allow resurrection and in most cases forces halved metal worth of the wreck.
