All the issues with lavasplosions should be fixed now thanks to help from FLOZi.

Lava Gadget is now GPL. If all goes well I plan on releasing it as a drop-in package so people can easily use it their own maps.

This has been my most ambitious map to date and I couldn't have done it without everyone that helped turn this into a polished and (hopefully) bug-free release. Thanks to all who contributed.

Violence 3:

-new sinc compressed detailtex splats and settings used
-fixed lavasplosions for all games
-lava adds damage over time, as opposed to instant death
-workaround for waterdamage affecting hovers in spring 94.1.1+
-skybox modified
-lava gadget is now licensed under GPL

Violence 2:

-fixes by Anarchid to lava shader

I don't think there's anything particular that can be done about it, but there are times that making out units on the dark red background makes my eyes want to bleed. I can't even see shields that have gone red half the time.

Not your fault - it's a beautiful map. But I don't know if the color scheme really works with ZK.

Unit in this map become "translucent", erm... its look like i can see behind the unit...I can see the mexes' drill

MYrankxponen that happens because of the lava shader widget, when you have luashaders disabled.

Could it be possible to make that widget disable itself if the user has luashaders disabled?

The gadget is supposed to go into non-GLSL mode if luashaders are disabled, at least it does for me. I can't reproduce the transparent units thing though multiple people have reported it.

regarding hard to see red players, I've had some success using USrankAdminCarRepairer's common colours widget http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=30958&sid=4a9f2172a6ce011fbc4e3c7311e81743 which assigns everyone a nice shade of blue/green/yellow instead, but some effects like spotter don't look right.

Once enabled it can be toggled by a minimap button
