Melt v2, the shiniest snow in Spring! For teams or 8 player FFA.


Changes:

fixed missing metal patches
fixed splattex scales and mults not being applied, tweaked values
increased min/max elevation to avoid water pools
new detailtex if /advmapshading off
new sky
slightly less metal
removed unused features
added black border with mapextension widget enabled
"palm trees" now have better labels
converted .tga to .dds files
usable .sd7 archive

South has lower terrain - bad for plasma/balistic units :)

Okay, removed FFA tag and featured it.

Still might wanna consider balancing the four corners, just because this looks like an interesting map for FFAs. Currently most FFA maps are very flat and dull.

Is this tagged for 1v1? I think it should be. Spiders can really shine here in 1v1 too.

Perhaps the combination of being very hilly and large doesn't make it suitable for 1v1. Ground units take ages to get anywhere and nearly everybody !votemaps it away. Untagged for 1v1.

The terrain proved unreadable, almost evenly rugged, and somehow uninteresting over the last year. The aesthetics are pleasing, but the gameplay not so.

The mex layout is definitely for a team game. There are too many mexes at the back for a 1v1 and they are tightly clumped so easy to defend.
