Interesting idea but shallow water has higher pathing cost so units do not like to cross it. Water is to shallow for ships. I feel like you should make water
-17 if you only want light ships or -20 - 22 for all ships. Not sure, about those value but I think they are about right.

Having ships / submerged amphibs in the center puddle would be more interesting then just having kbots running through it.

True Jasper, would be epic to have ships in mid as well. However, the minimum depth for a shipyard is 30, and that's too deep for land units. And I'd like to keep the middle available for land units, otherwise it's too similar to the flooded version of the map.

If mid waterdepth was 15-22 it'd be passable by land units and ships, but you'd have to terraform to make a shipyard. Not a huge fan of having to terraform.

Why is the shipyard depth requirement so much bigger than of the ships' anyway? Model concerns?

Well in any case, I just made the map quickly for fun & practice, it's not the most serious one. :)

The shipyard requires a min dept of 30, because of Warlord and Reef - now we could change it back (since we got StriderHub ...).

But it would be nice if there are some impassible edges.
The small hills at south, with a small lake in front or behind of them would be perfect for hover facs.

Can fleas pass?
I think they need more shallow water than Glaives for example ?!?

Units dont like to move into shallow water because it slows them down. Or at least the path finder thinks it does.

Water is to shallow for amphibs.

The minimum required depth for warlord is 15. I still don't understand why shipyard depth requirement is so big. For all I know it could just as well be 20 or something, all ships can move at water that's this deep.
