The base was strangely built. Also, to protect against kodi, it is required to specially install llt. Also ignored the bolas

I see this as one of those increasingly common examples of the issue we've been discussing about kodachi. No condescendence or offense intended by the statement here, but unless Kshatriya has improved threefold in the past half a year, Godde should still be in a league of his own by comparison - and as such, this shouldn't have happened so easily (unless of course, all the speculation about kodachi is in fact true, in the same way that I previously asserted that kodachi and shieldbots were actually shortcuts into the top 10 for players of growing, but not fully established skill).

What I feel this illustrates is exactly the amount of effort a kodachi user has to put in by comparison to the opponent. Godde appeared to believe that daggers should be up to the task, but they're just not - partially due to factors related to the lead targetting conversation happening in parallel right now. Sure, bolas or scalpel may have had more success. But I think there's an unspoken (if mistaken) belief that raiders should be able to make better trades at play here.

Really frustrating to see but I'm glad kodachi is under growing scrutiny.

Actually, TL;DR: Kodachi IS cheese.

As far as I know Dagger has always been at least soft countered by Kodachi. This includes points in time at which Bolas did not exist and nevertheless Hover was taking a dump on Tank and pretty much everything else. (In fairness Scalpel and/or Mace were probably overtuned at the time.)

what i got from all those examples is that IF koda is not simply too strong, it requires a lot of specific expierience to handle it. This might be true for pyro as well.

I have played a ton of 1v1`s against Sigero and other people in the last days and it strikes me how often people get annoyed with matchups, not with their opponent.

I don't really have much of an opinion on Kodachi, since I have never been particularly good at using them or playing against them. Perhaps I should give them another try and see if the mildly decreased ping time at the moment helps.

I don't put this game down to balance, its Godde not getting away with his greed (no LLT at factory + com walk vs kodachi).
