40% CPU use in lobby

I think I may have discovered the source of the lag. The spring process eats up 40 - 50% of the CPU time while just being in the lobby. (I have a dual core, so that's an entire core)

I have yet to see evidence that it noticeably impacts running games. The process eats CPU because it is an RTS engine with a lobby bolted on top. It has not been told how to go into any sort of "light mode" while no game is loaded.

So.....its not a problem?

Is it running on the same core as other LUA crap that exists in actual ZK game?
If it is there is a problem

Some big games are -incredibly- laggy and when I do /luaui disable I get almost 2x FPS...
Not sure if it's chobby problem, develobs made it run on the same spring engine as an actual game so I can't just kill the lobby and see if it helps FPS

And I have design reasons to believe that there is little effect. Do the test. Tick "Multiplayer in new window" and see.

There problem here isnt ingame performance. ITS THE FACT THAT THE LOBBY MAXES OUT CPU CORES! I think most people don't like their cpu fans going insane just sitting in a lobby.

I've done software development, web development, and IT work. I use an Intel Core i5-6200U CPU, which has: 2 cores, 4 threads, processor base frequency of 2.30 Ghz:

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/88193/intel-core-i5-6200u-processor-3m-cache-up-to-2-80-ghz.html

I also have 32GB of RAM. When I play multiplayer online, a lot of times it seems to max out a core. I'll start to lag and it's saying CPU 100% in the game. When I'm in the lobby, it's also high on the CPU.

Why is it using that much processing power when I'm just in the lobby? Someone mentioned the lobby is built basically on top of the RTS game. So maybe there needs to be some performance optimization. Either the game or the game engine has a problem or problems. That's why too much processing power to not even be in a game. That must be like a crazy code loop that never stops for a break.

I'd take a guess it has to do with how UI is being drawn, i.e. redrawn each damn frame from zero instead of parts that actually need updating
correct me if I'm wrong...

Is it mining ZeroKoins?

And if so, why do you trade in LobKoins?

Did I hear ZK does not work well with multi-core processors? Here is a good representation:
