Map creator should make a video of how to make a map so other ppl can view n might even make some map out from it.

There is no map creator. It is all images and archives. Get a look at this.

There's a beginners tutorial on the wiki that's good if you want step by step instructions.

Also enetheru recently posted on the spring forums a video on making heightmaps in blender (which is free):

And a video on diffuse texturing:

GBrankTheSponge I think by 'Map Creator' he just means someone who's made a map.

But on actual map creating tools.. I think the closest would be L3DT, which has explicit spring support. Basically l3dt is the only tool I know of that does not require any supplementary tools. It's not open source but I believe the free version only limits size of heightmap (something like 4096x4096 tho, which is way more than enough)
Edit: I take back the free version part, apparently for spring support it'll cost $35

A google search will bring up a surprising amount of tutorials, tips and ideas for maps

The search query < site:http://www.bundysoft.com/L3DT/ spring > returns just one result, a set of two climates created by Forb. I'd say the converse is true: l3dt is explicitly supported by spring :P

That's probably because that doesn't include the wiki
http://www.bundysoft.com/wiki

I'm referring more to things like compiling smf/smt, and ability to edit or create each of the required images such as type map and exporting.
Its also the only tool I know that can decompile an sd7

There's plenty of programs you can use, I use GIMP + World Machine for my maps. Blender is one of them that's free. There's more to the process that's explained in the map dev wiki already linked.
