I found out while in single player if you spam terraform in your opponent's base you will see everything he/she is doing. Is that a bug?

Yes.. that is an interesting one. I assumed things that are now clearly incorrect about the engine release schedule and then forgot to fix it later.

Annoying chickens is a separate issue. There is no way for them to see the block other than with the chicken spawning gadget so the issue is in chickens.
