I've noticed you cant actually damage your own units...Is there a way to allow friendly fire on your own or team units and buildings? Would be nice being able to change this.

As far as I know the vast majority of units can damage friendlies if they happen to hit them, but it may be difficult to target a friendly unit. Try force-fire on the ground to work around this.

(Do be aware though that killing allied units in an online team game is NOT a good idea and may get you kicked or temp-banned.)

Nah not what i mean...I tested this with 50 ravens next to a group of glaives, bombed the crap out of it with force firing on the ground next to them...the explosion was hitting the glaives but no damage. I don't want to allow it just for the sake of killing my own units but to remove a major exploit. i can literally send 500 glaives into an enemies base with over 100 ravens bombing it all around the glaives and they take no damage from explosions? Wouldn't having friendly fire make me rethink that strategy? As of right now there's nothing stopping me from blobbing all my units together and firing on a sigle unit or spot because i dont have to worry about them killing each other. Would be nice to have the option to play with or without friendly fire.

There is absolutely friendly fire in the game. Try with a tremor firing towards your base, or use phoenixes and attack ground next to your units. You can absolutely hit them and damage them. Raven is not a good choice for that actually. Even a guardian commander with a riot cannon can do friendly fire if you aim close enough to your units.

Raven is a precision bomber, so it only has a nominal area of effect to ensure its bomb actually connects cleanly (it would only do area of damage on friend or foe if units are literally on top of each other, which should only happen to the smallest of units, if at all). The explosion of the Raven bomb looks a little more impressive than it actually is.

If you want to hit your own units with a bomber like a real world military, any of the other bombers will do the job. Likho has a pretty sizable AoE to match its bomb graphics, Phoenix obviously is a carpet bomber, and Thunderbird will happily disable your own army if you don't use it carefully. (Revenant and Krow in the gunship plant fit the bill too for big AoE that will also wreck a friendly Glaive ball)

You can also build a few Phantoms or Lances, I promise you'll have all the friendly fire you could ever ask for, and then some :D Normally people complain that units are too prone to causing friendly fire, not the other way around!

Very few units have friendly fire disabled, but that includes precision bomber. Other units include Impaler and Outlaw.

Looks like the weapondef collideFriendly and the customparam nofriendlyfire.

I realize now with more testing friendly fire is a thing, however imo the damage radius should match the explosion...sure it worked fine walking them directly into it, however if u drop a raven bomb directly next to a unit standing still it takes no damage, even if they are engulfed by the explosion, no fire damage nothing. Why I initially thought that friendly fire wasn't a thing.
