Twice in a row I tried to attack this Grizzly with my Likho, and both times the Likho dropped its bomb way too soon and didn't hurt the Grizzly at all. I don't know if I'm too much of a noob to aim Likhos correctly, but all I did was select the Likho and right click the Grizzly. The Grizzly wasn't even moving away either, and even if it was, it's so slow that it shouldn't be able to outrun an airstrike. If the Likho had only waited like half a second to drop its bomb, it would have been a direct hit.

I'm not too upset about it but it did kinda suck when it happened. Just thought I should give feedback. Love the game and want it to be the best it can be.

Okay so I analyzed the replay (I didn't finish the game but I was streaming it) and what it looks like happened was, both times there was an elevated bit of terrain in between the Likho and the Grizzly. When the Likho attacked, it kind of shot its bomb at a diagonal angle instead of waiting until it was directly overhead and dropping it downwards like I was expecting it to. And in the process of trying to shoot it like a projectile instead of dropping it like a bomb, it hit that bit of terrain that was sticking up. Maybe make it so the Likho waits until it's closer to the target and drops its bomb more downwards so terrain can't get in the way? I know this isn't a standard map, and the way its constructed with all these small hills are just begging to cause problems like this, but with terraforming or any slight hill in a map, surely this would happen again. And when it does, it sucks, lol

Notice you can barely even see a hill there, but I think that's what happened. Maybe there's a setting to make the Likhos drop their bombs downward that I don't know about?

Likhos can be a bit finicky sometimes. Attacking from a distance is an advantage when you are flying into anti-air but it does sometimes cause things like this.

You can work around it by only issuing the actual attack order at the last moment but this requires precise timing. (Or attacking from another angle, if one is available.)

I don't think a toggle for firing later exists; it may be possible to create one.

True, the angle that it fires at definitely gives it longer range to deal with AA. Which makes sense as the tooltip specifically states that it's supposed to work well vs moderate AA. It would just be nice if there was an option of dropping it like a bomb or firing it as a shot, since the Grizzly I was trying to attack had no AA around it and was basically an easy lay up.

Wouldn't it make sense to set the grizzly target point at the top, so it can be properly aimed at when floating?

if firing from max distance,thres a chance that your missile will hit a tall(ish) structure in front of target(s).
the plane dose not account for the missile drop when targeting so even if it has LOS it dont mean thres a clear shot.

Of note, it doesn't seem to correct for jumping bots either.

In Multiplayer B764086 13 on TitanDuel 2.2 I also had a few Likho misfires, but the most notable one was at about 11:30 when I tried to hit Anir's Jacks which happened to be airborne at the time. You will see that the weapon strikes behind the Jacks and barely scratches them. Whether that is working as intended or just not readily fixable I don't know.

would be nice some option to change the angle or distance of fire of the air bombers to maximize the precision of the bomber but i think the bombers maybe need some buff in damage but having the nerf of precision inducing some % error like the berthas, if you want a 100% of precision youll need to get the shortest distance of fire (10 elmos radious at 100 elmos distance?), but if you want to fire far away from the bomber youll get less precision (maybe 100 elmos radious at 500 elmos distance?? maybe larger distance of fire but even bigger error)



I have a lot of maybe useful ideas about how to improve even more theis really amazing game but i just start learning how to code python... in a future i want to know .lua...
