What does the "elmo" unit translate to?

Me and my brother are trying to determine how far the "Big Bertha" tower can shoot in meters. But we can't figure out how many elmo's would go to a meter or a EU (hammer unit). Could someone please give me a translation?

There are some musings in

Also keep in mind that, for design reasons, the Big Bertha is only firing in very flat angles in the game. You need to account for its true potential:

The engine default tree stays at constant height across maps and is a pine in ZK (~30m according to wiki). You can measure its elmo height to get a ratio.
