What's up with random award dissapearance?
Sometimes u see games last 90 seconds and people getting airforcegeneral award with damage value of less than 150Hp, and sometimes u don't see any airforce award in a proper game with 4 air players each dealing at least 5k damage. And it applies to other awards too.

Airforce etc are based on average damage from all people except you. You need to do more damage with air than the average person did total damage. If everyone does a lot of damage it's hard to be above the average.

For example:

A did 200 non-air damage and 1000 air damage (total 1200).
B did 200 non-air damage and 1100 air damage (total 1300).
C did 1200 air damage.

A lot of air combat happened between everyone but nobody gets any award because the best air dude was C, yet his air damage (1200) is less than average total damage from the other people (1200 + 1300) / 2 > 1200.

Meanwhile in a 90 second game:

A bombs two mexes, does 150 air damage.
B and C did nothing and rushed resign.

150 > 0/2 so A gets air award.

Some awards have a multiplier because their weapon type is rare (for example kamikazes are treated as x3) but air doesn't have this.

I will elaborate on the reason for award calculation.

People might assume the question is "who had the most air damage?" but that would be boring. If the battle has at least 1 air damage then the award would always show, and it wouldn't be special. If everyone did poorly with air, someone is still the best and that's not a reason for an award.

So the better question would be "who dealt air damage and did a good job?"

"Good job" is up for interpretation but it's chosen by looking at average damage. Statistically, about half the players will deal greater than the average, and half will deal less. Air units generally deal less than ground units. So if a player exceeds the average with only air units, that's exceptional. The average doesn't include you so that you aren't handicapped from earning the award just because you also did well with your ground units.
