This weekend (September 19 and 20 2015) marks the end of my gaming life. (At least until 2 years from now, when I finish high school and go to university). I might play during Christmas or summer breaks, but I wont be playing much anymore.

As the last game I played before I take my 2 year break, it deserves a paragraph of best wishes.

I had a great time here, everyone was very friendly (unlike some other games the experienced dudes don't help the noobs out). As of right now I owe some people thanks to.
Firstly, thanks Licho for hosting the servers (its very neat, almost no lag)
Secondly, Huj for teaching me the basics
Thirdly, _Shaman for introducing me to map making basics (it was fun)
Fourthly, Hokomoko (hopefully I spelled it correctly) for telling me about the source code and etc.
Lastly, everybody else for countless reasons...

I didn't really help out much with this project both financial wise (sorry im poor, my life savings was $200 over a period of 10 years) or code wise (sorry Hokomoko, the spring source code is too complicated for my little experience to understand), but I do have several suggestions.

1. reduce or remove catching up (its annoying)
2. spring stops responding when loading Lua at 80% for several seconds (please fix this)
3. improve performance. (The biggest thing here). If this game will ever become popular, it MUST perform well (before all of your fancy graphics, which is very very very very good). If you guys need an example search up the history of "Tanki Online" in 2009 its original appearance was very very rudimentary. Then search up Tanki Online in 2014 it has won several Russian awards for best flash game and etc. That game performs well on even dual core processors with 2.5Ghz of clock speed for each core (I tested that out) and 4 GB of ram.

Hopefully, this game will still be alive 3 years from now. Good luck to everyone both players and developers.

btw, a friendly warning, if you somehow keep playing, it's going to be a bit embarrassing.
When I got drafted to the army, I did some "bye guys" post in the forums of a mod I was developing and playing.
I think that being able to play/post later (waaay too many leaves at first, and then internet connection) made it all look slightly daft (even more than the usual 18yo hoko, which had much more hair at the price of being much dafter).

Don't worry they always come back fast after writing these things. I am used to see that. 2-3 weeks tops and he will be here.

I'm not sure what you are expecting from University, but encase you did not know: you will never have more free time than you will in your first year of being an undergraduate. See you soon!

That depends on the University and your major.

(And also on how lazy you are...)

If you guys haven't realized I play this game toooooooo much. Average 4 hours a weekday and 8 hours on weekends.

Also, I don't get how you guys think I am going to die. The only reason I am writing this is because... well hokomoko already said it here: http://zero-k.info/Forum/Thread/20093#142670

If i don't get to play during university then ill prbably play 6 years form now :P

People seem capable of playing zk while building houses, raising kids, and working fulltime.

An interesting experiment.
