My suggestion
A module which gives you 100% more range, limit 1 lvl3 and another 50% one at lvl2, but you can not use both.

same with reload:
lvl2: *0.7
lvl3: *0.5
lvl4: *0.35
you can only equip one reload upgrade.

Deleted the other post about jumping coms.

We're probably going to turn it into a module at some point, but then you have to balance the additional mobility.

The only ideas that are useful to discuss are those that are going to be supported and realized by the developers. This forum has some really great discussion on it, mostly due to this kind of developer engagement.

If you want an idea of what we're likely to do with jumping on commanders, we may turn it into a module and remove innate commander abilities, but the main problem with that is increased mobility has to come with a big survivability trade-off, otherwise a jump comm can hunt down and kill any other commander or dis-engage the moment it goes awry, he never needs to commit. This is why the Recon Comm is much weaker than the others.

Most likely we will leave jump on the recon comm for these reasons and just lose the innate 10% per level type buffs. Jump-related Recomm only modules might be interesting, if we're just fishing around for extra modules to make, but we're more likely to focus dev time on universal modules...

You could simply make the jump module reduce hp as well as grant jump.

Only for the jump-module Rafal !!!

It sounds very easy to replace the com models:
* jump-module: -25% HP, +jump ability.
* air-balloon-module: pop out of the water like amphibious units
* boost-base-module: +1 m/s, +3e/s, change to +5 build power at morph level 2
* tank-module: +25% HP, decrease jump reload and velocity by 15%

Transporter-com:
* normal com + backpack-module: transports another unit on it's back

If we would have modular coms - arm, legs, etc. - we could change the models dependent on the equipped single-case-modules.
