I've made #1 a few times, it's pretty dull once you get there but the journey is very intense. Playing solo you're required to outplay the inevitable teams that pop up in top 10, and to do so consistently. They have so many advantages over you it's a little silly, but it feels bloody good when you take 'em down.
The teamplay is sort of fun, but very difficult to feel like you're contributing meaningfully.
