Congrats Forb!

Once it's actually live on Steam (maybe even this weekend?) everyone in ZK should hang out in the Evolution channel and play some Evo games. Try to make a nice impression for anyone coming in from Steam.

Shoot, I'm busy this weekend, though I've been unable to get to the last couple of EvoRTS meetups.

Also, usually the chatting is done in mumble, in the channel Torture Chamber. I'm not sure about IRC channels.

The Evolution RTS chat channel on the Spring lobby server is #evolution

Type "/join #evolution" into chat.

Or maybe just "/join evolution" . They both seem to do the same thing in ZK Lobby. Not sure which one is 'correct'.

I go to the evo game nights when I can. Hopefully I can recruit a few more players for ZK.

I have always used /join #evolution to join the evo channel.

just go on mumble on saturdays or at least untick 'official only' in the battle list and find the weekly evo game

sponge you know you can just right click the channel name on the left and tick 'automatically join this channel', you dont need to spam /j every time lol

it is same as most spring games so you dont really need to learn anything except the different units

would be cool if zk was greenlight, has anyone ever tried?

It has been suggested many times but never done because we don't have a ridiculously awesome marketing video.

If evo can do it ZK can. I don't know much about how it is done but from the little I do know just going for it seems a good idea at this point.

It occurs to me that I do not find the thought of spending all day on Steam community hub fixing people's bugs particularly appealing.

Yeah sorry about me being so slow CHrankConnetable.. I'm still very busy IRL, baby, building a house.. AUrankAdminGoogleFrog said he would look into it and I will certainly help in the long term, with steam integration etc if it goes well! :)

I really think this is the wrong approach and I think it is quite rude to put it as you did.

That said, I'm not sure that Evo has enough content to keep all new players only playing Evo RTS and I think that they will naturally discover and start playing other Spring games as well.
However don't go in an EvoRTS host or the Evolution channel just to make players switch over to Zero-K.
