I couldn't help but think about how well Zero-K solves the dilemma, or just lemma, posed by this author.

What do you think?

This is exactly the reason why Zero-K wins over SupCom - in SupCom you can't experience the joy of having a single small but well microed unit do totally epic heroic stuff.

And still, Zero-K works pretty much just as well large-scale as SupCom, too.

I never liked Supcom because the big 'epic' scale of it. As the author put it: it tends to become just pushing huge spam of faceless robot armies to the enemy defenses. That is imo really boring.

TA derived games like ZK manages to find good golden middle and balanced approach to the dilemma of epic vs. micro. We can get them bot without it being too difficult to handle.

Epicness doesnt come from the scale and form but from substance.

How can we sell this aspect of ZK to the unwashed masses out there, yearning for a fresh perspective on RTS games (As I was; found TA, then spring out of frustration with SC)?
