Clans - what do they stand for

I was wondering - what philosophy and strategic doctrine do each of the big ZK clans stand for?

Mean Machines surely represent the cruel application of coordinated porc and planes.. if MM were a unit, it would be the licho.

0K stands for Zero-K.

You can join if you are willing to:
- learn stuff, lots of stuff
- work hard for countless days for many years
- be yelled at by angry mobs
- be yelled at by angry clan-mates
- fix bugs that need to be fixed instead of adding fun stuff
- keep repeating yourself explaining same stuff over and over again
- fight hard for every change you know is best for the game
- do all that for free and open source
and
- become a hero creator that makes one of the best RTS out there!

Wow, thats an old Asterix image. I always loved those comics... still do. And MM does not stand for porc and planes, it stands for doing whatever is needed at the time and doing it well with flawless team coordination. A small but good example of a battle was with me, Forever and Alcur on a team. Forever scouted and saw a mace rush, I made a tick and when it was stunned Alcur swarmed it with scrubbers. Cooperating well and working as an effective team is what makes MM the force it is.

That sounds like loads of people who still build on metal spots get put in the same clan and get balanced together, putting them at a disadvantage.

IVL is just a clan I leave open so people can join Empire if they want to play alongside me in PW. I don't even know these people. It's a purely PW device, I've tried to train up the players but they're almost completely unreceptive (sometimes hostile) towards advice.

Jesterhat84 and IVL_Beezzz (Who isn't even IVL anymore and is an old Spring player) fought well alongside me in that PW round I won, and Shraka is my brother but rarely plays.

So it's not really an entity and I even left it last PW round to go to Machines for most of the game.
