licho banned all nota lobby users, reset your ip and swich to springlobby or suchlike with a clean smurf, alegedly this should stop smurfs...

Well, the reason I did NOTAlobby in the first place is that 1. For some reason, springlobby doesn't install for me. (When I click the .exe, it says some crap DLL is missing. 2. Zero-K lobby is ugly compared to NOTAlobby, and it has this annoying error at startup. Can anyone help?

i have to agree with herp... spring lobby is slow buggy shit (its also ugly) zk lobby is even slower, less buggy... (its even more ugly) TAS client, is awsome but not up to date weblobby is... well lets just say i have heard rumors that people have at one point or anothere got it to work intermitedly before it inevitably was shelved due to being unworkable... NotALobby: it works, its only slightly bugged, its fast, its NotAUgly, and it seems to run on evrything... [the "no malware like anti-smurf protection" is also a bonus(just try deleting ZK lobby on windows...))

The NOTALobby problem is because the group is breaking the engine's licences and not listening to warnings, and thus, stuff like this happens.

lol, notaloby is used by us because its convenient, springlobby works just as well(but its not as awsome). you can smurf with ZKlobby too, but this requires cleaning ZK off your computer evry time(and its a hassle) now i have 5 hours before ive got to get on a plane ^.^ you will only have to put up with my trolling for 5 more hours, where im going i dont have a machine powerfull enough to run spring btw on linux cleaning ZKlobby off is really easy XD the only thing that makes NotALobby so atractive is that its the only non-fugly lobby (since tasclinet). but i know, paranoia is the disease all server admins suffer from... it causes them to do silly things

zk-lobby is not ugly (however you might be in need of some high level computer-technology skills like changing colour in options).

yes and the general layout, and the blinding white multiplayer screen of death, and the periodic crashes, and the inability to sort games properly... need i say more? its pretty bad for functionality and not even mentioning its memory leaks, and the fact that it takes 20% of the cpu while you are playing game the ingame settings constantly refreshing, the actual game crashing, the settings trying to swich to default after evry crash, constant unnesesary updates, lag,....

I don't have any of those problems, wabbit. FYI: The NOTAlobby blockage by ZK has nothing to do with the licensing issue (which has reportedly been resolved, at any rate); it's because NL refuses to transmit lobby ID as required by lobby protocol, making it easier to circumvent bans.

So bad, NOTA Lobby is best looking and with some very cool functions. For example: - It is filtering !y, !n votes and showing only progress-bar - It shows how players voted - Perfect map-choose dialog and many more, i wont login now, dont wanna get banned :-D

Ah, so it works? Must be icy tea fault then. It just freezes google chrome when I create singleplayer game or join multiplayer game.

Switched to flobby. Zero-K lobby crashes, as soon, as any vote is started or in progress. Totally unusable on archlinux for me. Suspected problem - sounds. Please implement "mute all sound" option in Zero-K lobby. (flobby crashed too until I disabled it's sound)
