friends game always crashes in the first seconds saying "access violation"
tried spring lobby and zero-k lobby. the weird thing is that everythink worked fine in the first game.
any ideas? :(

I do get such error sometimes, but when I restart PC it is ok.
(my PC is really wonky)

I got this idea:
go to Setting tab in ZKL, turn off safe-mode. See what happen.
For my wonky computer safe-mode is strangely cause crash!

Look at infolog.txt. Is it consistently the same problem?
Check for hardware problems.
Look at event logger, cpu/gpu temperature, fan, and such things. Maybe check your harddisk SMART registers/do a test. Then check your RAM with memtest86.
A friend of mine had a faulty RAM... everything was working 100% except when scrolling PDF in acrobat. Scrolling anything in another tool or viewing pdf in another viewer was ok. Hardware bugs can be sneaky...
