The difference is that this has no typemaps. We were thinking of disabling the auto-typmap-disabler because it had problems, so I made some versions of common maps that have typemaps, without any.

But it was not needed.

I'm confident i saw a post on e.g. http://zero-k.info/Maps/Detail/24164 (and this map right here, too) asking what the change for the ZK-version was. Unless 2 ZK-versions of these maps were uploaded the posts got deleted.

I think it was needed but deemed to be a lot of work on the mapping side. It should not be needed in 92.0 apparently because repathing is much faster.

What's the problem with the typemap-disabler you were looking to correct? When I was tagging maps I noticed that pathing through modoption-fixed impasses was very finicky. Hells Pass was the most obvious example... Fleas would need a million waypoints over the ridge or they'd go through the pass instead.

It wa not deemed to be a lot of work on the mapping side, there are only 3-5 maps that have this issue and I re-did most of them while we were just discussing it.

But then it was decided that this doesn't really help anything, won't solve our pathing issues or speed up loading times very much. I also believe there was an efficiency fix.

It is an issue on these particular maps. Changing the typemap with modoptions causes a long repath queue which makes pathing bad.
