It would be cool to start with some premade factories and units instead. So you can see whats really in game and play with it.

How do i start a game pls? when i click play now button, it just open blank page: spring://http://zero-k.info/Missions/Detail/97@start_script_mission:SandBox%20and%20tutorial, spring installed

Linux or windows? Windows - download and install zero-k lobby (dont worry about spring at all) and then it will work.

Linux (mint 11) i think it should be assigned to some terminal command (in opera for instance) but dont know which command and parameters

Oh unfortunately linux lobbies do not support these commands yet :(
So starting mission would involve downloading mision into mods and downloading script and starting spring with path to script as parameter. But its not worth of effort in this case because this mission is basically empty map :-)

Easiest way to play single player skirmish on linux is opening a battle in lobby and adding bot AI (CAI or Chickens)
