S.P. fails

Hi!

Wanted to check a bit where's ZK at, from a newb viewpoint.

The lobby GUI had me very confused. Wanted to try PlanetWar, but had no idea how. And Skasi told me to forget PW and leave it to the pros.

I was able to join a Chicken game in progress, this sorta worked, it played the game at high speed for a bit then I got a connection lost countdown.

Then I wanted to try the missions, but they failed as in this screenshot:



To sum it up:
ZK does not work! fix plox! :D

If you join a game that has been running for some time, it plays through it as fast as your PC allows. Then if you catch up with , it will continue at real time. However, if the game ends before you catch up, you will get this disconnect error. In short, everything seems to be working fine there! :)

PlanetWars is a turn based game on top of the RTS game, where you can fight over planets one battle at a time. It's probably best to watch a few games first, and play a few regular games so you know how everything works. Then join PW when you feel comfortable with the game.

As far as missions go, I recommend 2v1. It allows you to learn the game in a nice and easy way.

Really, the top of the Planetwars page should include a link to the guide, and the top of the guide should point out that you don't need to really "play" planetwars to participate in Planetwars battles - feel free to join them, the auto-balancer will work you into the game regardless and you'll be a non-aligned player. In fact, your presence as a non-aligned floater will improve the balance for the clanned players in the game.
