Factions need coordination, talk and disputes.

Most people do not want/know how/are able to use mumble, ts, etc.

Lobby faction channels and their "secret topics" are easily readable by other players.

In 0k lobby there is of course channel history, but we all know that, hmmmm, content of chats is no permanent.

That's why we need dedicated subforums for each faction, we know that there are faction forum threads, but it is actually worse than lobby chat to dispute. And such subforums allow separation of different disscussions. Even better idea - subforums for factions and another subforums accessible only by faction staff.

If you want secret discussion you will have to do better than this. New players can be put in factions and then they could see everything. It's a general problem because if you want a plan to say secret you cannot tell a large portion of your faction about it.

Make forums that are started by the faction leader (leader of the largest/most ip holding clan) and accessable to anyone with a position or invited.

Faction forums are useful and i support this motion. Not for uber stealth covertly secret ops of extreme sensitivity like operation planetbusterblitzkrieg or operation liberty strike, but for generally making your players understand what is happening why and where are they on the line.
