That is why they need help. We can't do anything here to make it work on mac. Once Spring works ZK will work. To have a chance of getting it to work on mac you have to post in the Spring forum, maybe your problem will be fixed but at least a bug report will contribute to development.

sure, if you code the compatibility layer. If you want it to run on BSD your better off attempting to compile it there.

Platypus923 the mac install guides are quite well written, you are best off attempting to follow them and reporting any problems you have to that forum (not here as we cannot help you)

This is not a cause why installation on MAC is nightmare I guess. It is same as saying linux is for servers only, simply there is not enough devs with macs who would like to make proper port of spring and lobby.
