Abuse admin rights

to put that in context, it was a troll game on a tiny map in which I started with 13 coms because juggler kicked the whole team... but sure sfireman :)

Ivory but i started with big ammount of coms too, so why you didnt exit with your mega admin right when you went to win, and exited when went to lose?

game starts normal
both sides gets people juggled
game continues
at about 10-15 min team Ivoryking is loosing
someone calls !exitvote
vote fails
then ivory uses admin powers to !exit

Hey, I dislike fireman as much as 98% of the ZK community, but he's absolutely right in the case.

Should 1v0ry have !exit game at start? SURE! Juggler ruined game and it should have been exited.

Should 1v0ry have !exit game after 15 minutes and he's losing? NO!

If admins use !exit after 15 minutes and losing, why should another admin not use that against you?

If you don't be fair to others, others will be not fair to you.
Maybe you join a game where the one you made angry is !voteboss-ed :D

Yup, exit at the start of the game or resign next time Ivory, just to avoid this kind of thing.

Skasi - it doesn't sound like the game in question was a reasonably fair fight. Thus, from the standpoint of using Elo as an accurate gauge of relative skill to help balance games, it would have been best for there to be no Elo rating change based on the results.

However, if an admin is going to let games continue when winning and exit them when losing, that introduces a bias into the Elo ratings, which affects their accuracy and degrades their value as a means for balancing games. That should be strongly discouraged.

This is all quite independent of the unfortunately rather common view of Elo as some kind of prize to be fought for by any means necessary, which is retarded.

Degrading elo over time is actually a really nice idea... Due to school and IRL stuff I haven't been around as much as I'd like, and as such I'm not really as good as my elo might say, although with some practice I'm not terrible. Perhaps lost points should be put into an AFK pool and they would be bonus points for casual players regaining lost elo?
