I only play from time to time, and never with people. Also, my style is pretty much to play cooperatively with my partner AI. Is there a way that I could let it know that I'm reserving a metal extractor for it, for example?

from holding tab you can give energy, metal, and units, also there is no need to fight over metal extractors as a team, metal from metal extractors are shared across the whole team, but not with reclaim.

This is useless to reserve a metal extractor. In team, metal income from Mexes is shared
