Is this a new feature or is this a bug?

Now I see a takeover prompt if the player go afk or resign. I think other players can't see the prompt since there is no reaction from them. If only the highest elo can takeover, what's the point of having a prompt? I suppose is a bug then?

This is because most people dont want those units (which is the reason why the prompt was introduced). Everybody is supposed to see the prompt. So far people see it simultaneously and distribution is first come first serve.

People don't seems to be able to takeover the units though? Can't be entire room not taking over units, right?

Bad, Maybe let highest WHR see for 5-10 seconds first, then others?

I think the complaint was that top players always got all units and it could become overwhelming. I don't think this is a good way to solve that. Now the complaint is that people who dont know how to play can take units and lose games simply because someone goes afk. I believe it should go from highest rating to lowest rating with a prompt that lasts for 5-10-20 secs? Then cycles to the next highest. I don't know if this is extremely difficult, but the new way seems worse than the old way. It feels like trading a bad flavor of ice cream cone for another one thats a noticbly worse flavor, yet still is theoretically a working ice cream system.

only gets overwhleming if 2 or more leave and u have 1/3 of the units scattered accross the map. As suggested would be nice to take the first time, then if more resign they can choose to not take, someone else can take them.

Even with the old way, i would just select a heap of shit and give them to the next reasonable person to control them, pause if u must\can.
