One feature that my ADHD-filled self is sorely missing, that's present in all the other rts games that I've played in the past (including Command & Conquer, StarCraft, and Warzone 2100) are audible alerts, like these:

To my knowledge, only the sounds of my commander coming under attack, and the sound of a strategic nuclear launch, are easy enough to tell. All other audible warnings are absent, with only some having visual warnings, which just don't do enough to grab my attention. Even if it's having that text-to-speech program of yours doing double-duty, and reporting on what's happening like all the other rts games out there, I would very much appreciate the addition.
By the way, I think even Total Annihilation had audible sounds that play when one of your units come under attack, so what gives Zero-K?
