So basically emulate the behavior of the battle detail page?
I wouldn't mind having fancier & more feature-filled tiles, but at some point they become a bit cluttered. I'm not a fan of the nicetitles everywhere -- they show good information, but it should be integrated more into the site.
Maybe it would make sense to add extra functionality as a full-width tile layout depending on screen size. I'm currently working through some re-designs of the site -- navigation is nearly done, but maps will be before battles. Both maps and battles are pretty similar, and don't have too much stuff in the detail pages -- it wouldn't be impossible to remove the detail pages altogether I think. But, I haven't gotten there quite yet.
If anyone has any more suggestions I'd love to hear them, I fully agree with everything said so far.
