Plasma gun for Redback??

As we know, Redback has gotten a nerf to vison range and isn't used much in the Spider factory, especially due to the fact it gets blocked by terrain and doesn't get a bonus for height.

Now, I would like to hear your opinions on a plasma machinegun Redback, with a bit of AOE.
I want coredevs as well
EMG:
Range->330
Damage->190
Fire rate->0.2
Aoe->80
New feature: If on hill, it gains range, but as it does so, the damage increases while the AOE decreases.

So about 4x the DPS of a Warrior with all terrain capabilities and more range? That is beyond bonkers.

The current laser is pretty ok. If you want to petition for a Redback buff you are probably better off hoping for a super slight numbers adjustment (like 5% more DPS or something like that) than a full rework.

If you think that Redback is a good unit already why do you want to buff it?

Another possible direction for a small numbers tweak is to decrease its model size and hit box. I think the Redback's large size is a significant part of its poor viability in the mid-to-late game.

I repeat myself, but I really want to make Arc-gun hill-savvy redback a reality. I hope it'll get some support from you guys to make it official when it's done, because it's a unique mechanic we didn't have yet.

For misunderstanding:
190 damage PERSECOND.
Machine gun shoots 5 times per second.
190/5=38 damage per shot.
Aoe is a bit small, like Venom.
Of course, this is because the laser is hard on hillfights. Changing this is really only giving Redback an arc laser and a bit of AOE.
And the damage increase thing, we don't really need it. I just wanted a unique riot.
Should I code my own machinegun or just copy and paste others?

Fast firing Crabe. Annoyingly, every slot in the Spider fac besides flame has been used by the others. There's nothing that Redback can do that isn't slotted into another spider unit. Except do flame. Maybe slow&disarm

I'm for flame, and yes we don't need another Crabe, but what can the Redback do besides be a laser shooter which is bad on hills?
Machine flame guns or something, maybe slowgun? 2Lasers? Just plasma machine guns?
I really don't know and I'm the only person (I think this because I rarely see spiderfac anyway) that seems to actually prefer Redback , so I can't tell what's wrong with it. But I do say remove the laser.
