-- MY OPPINION --

Doomsday Machine is the only building for Base defenses that is cheap and mightly, but the main Weapon is irrelevant for the gameplay.

Because if the main weapon is NOT strong enough the front has failed and if it does not hit the basic Attillerie than the only 400m more expensive Annihilator would be build or the defense is not effective enough for it's cost

And against Flears, Glaives or Bandits are 8 Stardusts or 4 Stardusts and 2 Aegis a much better choice.

--- REBALANCING IDEA ---

The main weapon should be able to kill hammers with a little bit more Range.

OR

The main weapon should get an shorter Range / smaller amount of damage, but a higher fire frequency / larger AOE to save these AOE weapons one place under the top 7 Superweapons.

Actaully i think the problem is annihilator which effectively replaces it, as well as cheap artilery. In the past doomsday was used more than annihilator, but we buffed annihilator rate of fire and this means nobody builds ddm.

It could get faster firing main gun with weaker shots.

Is it possible to reduce the size in the vertical direction?
( So that Stinger and Annihilator can fire over it )

This is also a difference of Stingers and Pitbulls near Doomsday Machines.

I think DDM is fine. It is artillery resistant and extremely hard to assault directly.

Anni on the other hand may well be too good for the things DDM is good for but KR has already done something there.

KR is KingRaptor one of the developers, he did something :)

I would decrease beam time of annihilator/penetrator. This will make it less universal and less likely to kill multiple units in single shot but as good vs big stuff as it is now.

Issue is long blast being able to kill say 5 glaives in same shot, it just fires through multiple unit killing them all. OTA had short blast in those weapons for a reason.
It could even be made to attack just 1 unit max.

DDM is for anti spam and OK anti heavy tacy is for arty more then anything its easily killed by spam ddm prevents spam
