6 -12 players? I think it would work especially well in 2v2.

i guess something like that could be done with a gadget, but it sounds rather complicated and could possibly be a lot of work. altho if someone was to make one, it could be used in other maps too.

You could easily make it uniformly slower, and you could also make it shiny to show it's ice using a specular map.

Oh oh oh I got an idea! Cant we use the stuff that makes ships slip on shores in 98+ for the ice? :D

I suppose one way to simulate slippyness would be decreasing acceleration and deceleration. Can these variables be changed on units at any time in a running game?

Possible (Swift Boost and Slow damage both affect these).

if tiles covered with slippery ice have distinct TerrainType or somehow could easily be identified in other way runtime, then the gadget will likely be no longer than one page long.

It is incredibly unclear where the elevation on this map is. I've played on it countless times and only just realised the extent of the elevation now when I saw the e difference in Orf's windgens.

It feels like I'd need to play with F1 on constantly to have a clear idea of where the ramps are. In my head all this time it's been a flat map with mountains poking out. It's one big mountain with more mountains poking out :P

It's a good map otherwise. One of my favs.
