A4 flyer is huge. imo: /edit Aha, it somehow read like this was already tommorrow or so. "We've locked in our date with the Australian Technology Park for February 27 and 28th, 2016,"Then is few more days to make bit less bad design. But in principle I suggest it to keep it simple like that, just in case people start posting the usual wall-of-text suggestions for advertising.

If there is some kind of rts area, it might be worth going there. Because from my experiences with gaming cons, most people will only be interested in the newest AAA console titles. So you might greatly increase your effectiveness by standing at the entrance of the rts hall. Anyway, really nice idea of you to do this! PS: Idk if something like that exists, but in Switzerland there's the swiss (indie) game developers association. It's probably too late for that now, but such associations can sometimes even get you a free exhibition booth. I've once had this chance in Switzerland, although the whole exhibition was more geared towards children and consoles in this case.

I still have 3-4 days to prepare. really need that flyer done, 4 on each A4 sound good. Dunno Since I don't have a ticket I don't think I'll go in.just standing outside near the gate. It's most likely won't attract a lot of players but I want to see how it go. if someone in Sydney can come I can bring with me a tablet/laptop so we can show the cast of shadowfury. Really want to know how the Devs think about this proposal.

The publicity is always good, but I'm not sure what my first impression would be of a game that is advertised with flyers (lol so 1900 :P) outside the actual area. But then I'm also not exactly familiar with the queer gaming scene.

just think of ourselves as extremely poor indie Devs. you will feel justified right away. well, to be honest, I think that should be our attitude in advertising.

Step 1 Get tablet with good screen/sound Step 2 Find way to hang it around neck so people can see screen Step 3 Play best ZK propaganda videos on loop Step 4 Stand around and give people that look fliers Step 5 Get video evidence of your efforts and get some kind of kudos reward from devs edit - check lighting for screen visibility if u do this

From here on it seems a bad idea. I am not sure what rules such events have on visitors handing out flyers or setting up their own tables. Maybe that is okay or encouraged. Without ticket, hanging around entrance and trying to attract attention of visitors? At least ask for permission.

ZK has no proper propaganda videos. It has a couple of trailers made by King Raptor but they are old and focus on the features that are not a focus of the game nor ever were (like fps controls). Going around and just giving fliers by the entrance will probably seen as obtrusive to visitors. I would not want to be handed a pamplet when I come to such event.

Parzival you need to reserve a place in a megabooth at PAX. It only costs 100$. I am sure you can afford it.

Compared to fundraising 250 to go to summer camp that actually probably isn't that hard

[2up]knorkethank you for your concern but 1. it's too late to get a ticket now. 2. I am unlikely to spend any money at all on this venture since the result is vague at best. so I think I'll just do it if the tell me to leave then I'll just leave. besides I don't think they mind that much. If they do, I'll apologize and leave I guess.
