this map is way to big for zero-k.

had a game where all players lagged out.

You're probably just not being aggressive enough, porcing too much. But yeah, smaller maps are better, especially for new players.

I want to dream about zero-k having 100 vs 100 players at the same time on this map or bigger ones :(

Yeah ROrankForever, the issue there is that we would then really achieve the status of the background story of ZK, ie. the battle would never end ^^

Not really. Big team battles end after a while because someone eventually screws up.
100v100 would not be very kind to the Springs' net code. In fact it would result in super high pings where the game would simply be a slideshow and that is without taking to account the computer spec of other players.

I believe the closest you could get to that would be 35v35 with all of the players on super highspec machines hooked up to google fiber. That could happen on 20FPS or so.

I still dream of the 100 vs 100 zero-k team matches :(

Apart from the technical side, I still think that from around 20 v 20 or 30 v 30 upwards, you cannot really end the game. There is too much room for players comeback and too many back up if some players screw up. Individual skills are so blended and diluted in the team that nobody can make a difference.

But I would be interested to try it :)))
