Zero-K 1v1 Tourney 12/13/14

At that time, I might be able to stream for a couple hours, but that's it. I have stuff to do in town that I can't miss, and I'm going to have to leave for it around 19:30 UTC.

The only weekends in December that I'm really free for are this coming one (6th/7th) and the 20th/21st. I think I'd be available in the late morning to evening of the 27th as well, but I'm not 100% sure.

Just don't bother anymore people. Seriously, we have enough tourneys as it gets anyway and I (and presumably others too) dont want to see these shnienigans happen again.

Guys, I do care. The only problem is that a basketball tryout popped up outta nowhere for my brother, and my mom has to work, so I can't stay at home alone (Parents forbade that awhile ago).

Like I said, I'm really sorry, and this will hopefully never happen again.

Parzival: If you can't organize it [color=grey](due to personal issues or restrictions)[/color] then don't. I have no idea what is going on in your personal life, and frankly that's a private matter so I don't want to know, but organizing a tournament means that you are actually dedicating time to set up, make the rules for [color=grey](including researching how different rulesets are used)[/color], and run said tournament.

Everyone else is counting on you to make it go smoothly, and if you can't guarantee your time to that [color=grey](barring illness or other extraordinary circumstances. "My parents won't let me stay home alone" isn't extraordinary, it's a known restriction that needs to be planned around)[/color] don't put the offer out there. It's not an offer you can make good on.

An earlier cancellation would have saved a lot of accrued alien cachet value points.

The way i use it, it means trust / respect / kudos / status / goodwill rating / social capital / estimate of utility for / with relation to the current entity.

It's a little confusing to explain but it makes a lot of sense if you ponder about dynamics of things that regulate themselves without money or formal structures.

I will be hosting one. I just need to figure out something to make it fun...


An idea came to mind: An "Extreme Worlds" tournament -- maps would have enviromental hazards to them (like random flare ups, lightning storms, meteor showers, etc)... might be an interesting idea for a tournament...

Lulz, that would be a good idea Shamanpluk, maybe we should team up to host it since my tourneys never get anywhere :P
