Don't you just HATE porc? Well now you can release your anger by playing to eliminate a porc'ing AI! See if you can get to the top of the leaderboard!

Hmm the mission could benefit with some sort of start button. Otherwise i strongly disagree with the choice of the map because Techno Lands is just ugly :F
But otherwise the mission is quite decent! Good job.

Thanks! Glad you liked it.
And yeah, Techno Lands isn't the best looking map, but I chose it because of the terrain and how I could exploit that in the mission. E.g. you need heavy tanks but they can only go up the middle ramp which is very much anti-tanks.
I'll look into adding a start button. Did the custom sounds for Guardian Wisp work for you, by the way? It seemed to be hit-and-miss for me.

Hm. The mission goal is not to destroy the porc but all the singus. That means that accomplishing the mission goal asap is not a good idea, since you can't kill the remaining units afterwards for points.

As in, after the point where you can kill 5+ units per minute, finishing the mission is going to hurt your points...

It was a bit fun but I did not play it correctly, nor did the other side get any reinforcements, I just built a nuke.
You need to lock down buildings etc

GBrankfishfinger, apparently mission success is not what is rewarded here. You can tacnuke/nuke/bomb/siege/skuttle the porc to your heart's content and finish the mission by killing the singus whenever you want.

Given the amount of income you have at the start (and the lack of enemy screamers) as well as the map distance, suicide bombing runs will likely be by far the most time-efficient way to complete the mission. Building a nuke is also ok, tacnuking is kinda meh and getting artillery into place (even if there were no behemoths) and then getting through the shields takes (too) long.

Thinking about it, an athena behind enemy lines would probably do the trick, too.

Thanks for all the feedback so far, this was more of a proof-of-concept sort of map to test the idea out.
I probably won't make any revisions unless there's a game-crushing bug hidden somewhere, and instead I'll take everything I've learnt and all you've said into account on a new mission on a prettier map.
As for those improvements, I'll try and make it clearer as to what the objective is, as well as add some pressure from the AI to stop you just rushing nukes or a DRP.

Anyway, I found out the sound thing works, the image thing works, and that I am somehow competent enough to make a mission. I've also learnt that making the objective and the score source separate is a little bit dumb. Once again, many thanks for all your criticism and feedback.

Well done with putting the work into figuring out how to make a mission and actually making one.

Any idea why my score does not get submitted?

Should it be played in single player or multiplayer mode? Perhaps some widget responsible for score submission is disabled for me?

@Ivand: Odd, the pseudocode ( ) says that the score should be sent just after all the units in the bottom half of the map explode. I achieved my score in singleplayer, and I enabled all the widgets for the mission by default so unless that's been overridden it should work.

AUrankAdminGoogleFrog: Thank you, the wiki helped me with most of the concepts. The mission maker is also very user-friendly and mostly pseudocode, which is very nice for someone like me who hasn't really programmed before.

Scoring only works in ZKL so if were using another lobby client that particular time that would explain it.
