Ship mirror on Blue Comet. Enjoyably as always. Ship mirror on a large water only map is perhaps my favourite mirror in ZK at the moment.

Sounds like sea is finally no longer between a rock and a hard place, balance wise. So to speak.

Good job and kudos to the involved people!

I digress. I played horribly in this game, and therefore I do not like the balance. Everything feels very wonky considering my love of glaivespam. the disarming scout boats are very interesting, but everything else feels like it falls off to me. Snakes are the highest alpha raider with a 7 sec reload and feel bad against urchins to me, even though I think snakes have a recent buff. Still, 210m snake down 2 shots to defender(I mean urchin, with defender-like alpha) for 120m tower. I like glaiveswarming llts! Hunters have 69 DPS. that's more than 4 seconds to down a lone snake. I've had a good team game with enforcers, typhoons, and Crusaders. but I don't like that urchins are basicly a must-have to counter snakes early on from mexes.

I definitely do not have a build order for ships, and had horrible expansion this game. I also like naked expand, which is nay impossible because mexes tidal gens and mariners don't have sonar, so you can only see you're being attacked when the snake is off CD of it's weapon and you're looking at the minimap, or by noticing your expansion disappearing. Lauri loves a turret per mex, so he is bound to like the anti-raidability of his play in sea.

One more note on hunters, snakes and urchins: latter in the game, at about 10 mins in when I loose my com, I move my hunters in a pincer movement around the NW crater to stop the snakes. the snakes move north through my mexes, and pass right under my 2 hunters and loose about 3 or 4 snakes. there are still 4 snakes, but they managed to pass right through the fireing range of at least 1 hunter taking manageable losses. Lauri moves them over to the east, where he raides about 2 tidal generators, loosing the remaining 4 snakes to a single urchin due in part to mis micro. Snakes can choose to ignore hunters and run though naked expand, but come to a compleat halt when faced with an llt.

Why is it bad that the sneaky underwater raider is handily beaten by the underwater shooting turret? Skeeter are you raider ball unit, they beat Urchins because they can be disarmed.
