Silly Skasi it won't help because of nebs with wooden PCs, game runs at speed of the slowest PC.
You can buy PC for 10000$ and will play zk at 0.5

@FireNeb, there's a difference between global game speed and local fpe, yknow.

Not noticeable, for me it's almost the same play on 0.5 speed and play on 8-10 fps.
So when I see some lagger with pentium 2 800 mgz and 256 mb of ram it makes me feel bad, so bad that probably one day I will spend some time to throttle down resources decicated to spring to cause it lag so badly and start to play 12 hours x 7 day per week.
Probably after this people will take care about default auto measures against laggers.

AUrankAdminSaktoth: Yes thanks, the idea came to my mind after finishing it. My plan is to make a new version with some improvements as a rather longer term project (not a day or so of cutting your original into pieces and reassembling it), possibly also with a new sand texture.
It would be great if you could somehow give me your raw texture blocks.

I plan to assemble all parts with a program and not manually with gimp, so in the end I can specify any dimension of castles-grid and the program will generate it. 1x10 => SandcastlesVeryLong, 3x3 => Sandcastles2Big, 4x4 => SandcastlesVeryBig, 3x2 => Sandcastles2Double… and so on ;)

I think this is nicely possible with this map because everything is tiled into blocks of 256x256 px size, and easy alignment on a grid of this base size is possible.

Spamming fleas to quickly reach the unit limit and block everyone's construction is a viable strat on this map.

The unit limit isn't global, but personal, no? That's the way it was in OTA at least.

And anyone else read the name of this map "SandcastlesTooBig"?

My construction wasn't blocked at any point, from what I remember the limit is per-player.
And the pun in map name is intended :P
