I would like to know who removed my police tag.
I would like to know the reason for the removal.

---

keep in mind, i spend much time in the forums. i might be sarcastic sometimes, which i suspect this to be not very representative for an admin and therefore the reason for the removal. sadly this is not discussed with me.

---

i fix-edit much stuff in the forum and never abused any of the given powers. have fun without that.

You were deadminned because your posts last week (after that one about america losing a ton of weapons) were seen as mocking rule 8. It was discussed a lot in #zkadmin for several days. I think KR knows about it.

You can still help out! Reporting abuse, talking to people who need assistance, and setting a general good example is something everyone can do regardless of adminhood.

If anything, we would need more admins and not less, no?

Maybe a warning would have been enough?

but DErankAdminmojjj is one of the good admins... he never does stupid shit with admin powers (unlike some admins i dont care to mention)

Your prejudiced, uninformed opinion has been noted, Drone. Please consider yourself disinvited from repeating it. -KingRaptor

it's funny, KR was the first name that popped into my head when I read this

some things never change

That was considered and was the agreed upon choice of action by default.

However, it failed due to absence of non-lobby non-public communication channels, and lobby being inoperable as such.

Yes, like drone's social skills.

Wait what?

You couldn't contact DErankAdminmojjj in any form to give him a warning, so the logical conclusion was to deadmin him? Did I read that correctly?

USrankAdminCarRepairer pointed out (and I think he's correct here) that anyone else knowingly flouting the rules and making obviously flimsy excuses for it (as RUrankYogzototh showed) the way you did in the missing weapons thread would have received a moderator penalty in short order.

Private messaging is done through the lobby. Public warning was an option, but I guess RUrankYogzototh pointing stuff out acted as one.

- works by lobby protocol

Well if "Yogzototh pointing stuff out acted as [a warning]" and DErankAdminmojjj still got the punishment, then the warning had no purpose.
Just to make this clear, would he still have received his demotion if he was logged in at the proper time? (Speaking of which, he was online 2 days ago and 36 hours ago, judging by the games he played. His thread was, what, half a week ago?)

My concern is that I'm not getting the impression that the decision to demote DErankAdminmojjj evolved from a consent among the admins. In particular, these things don't add up for me:
1. Apparently a warning seemed sufficient, yet DErankAdminmojjj was demoted without further notice.
2. The warning was not given on grounds of lacking communication channels, although a public warning and this (inevitable) thread have qualitatively the same levels of public shaming. If that was your concern.
3. In addition, DErankAdminmojjj was logged in multiple times since the "incident", leaving ample opportunity for a warning. But despite a lack of periculum in mora (from what I can tell), a sudden decision was made and action was taken, leading to point 1.

I lack (internal?) information to complete the picture here, maybe the decision process could be elaborated on a bit more?

Also, if you punish repeated offenders harder (no discussion about that in this thread please), I think an (afaict) long time admin like DErankAdminmojjj would deserve a warning shot and not immediate termination. It's not like there was actual harm done.
