v1.2 wasn't featured when it got created because it changes the mex layout which wouldn't go well with the campaign mission which uses v1.1 (and we have a no duplicates policy so couldn't feature both).

v1.3 was then created which has the visual improvements of v1.2 and mex layout backward compatibility (uses the old v1.1 layout in planet wars and campaign) but it came a bit too late when there was the steam release feature freeze.
