1 Bandit is one of the oldest units that was designed explicitly *not* to be a copy of TA. If anything it's a closer simulacrum to Robocop's ED 209. I'm taken aback that you'd suggest it wouldn't be viable for a mascot.

3 However, ZK doesn't really have a *signature* unit -- there are simply too many to choose from. Even commanders have changed and become more varied over the years. Too many units would be missing out on the crossover treatment if one were chosen IMO.

5 But more importantly, Super Tux Cart doesn't have any mascots that represent video games. All of the mascots are derived from utility software, operating systems, ideological constructs, that sort of thing. Including units from an actual game wouldn't be consistent with its theme.

7 That said, I'd think a viable fork of Super Tux Cart would be to replace all the characters with various Zero-K units. There's enough to fill the entire roster and then some.
