I buy Gauss Rifle then Shock Rifle Conversion, if i buy High Caliber Barrel it was act on rifle or shock rifle disable it?

Weapon Mods only work for their specified weapons, and changing the weapon type with the upgrade does cause it to be kinda useless. Of course you could build a second gauss at mod 3.
