linux french key binding

ptiga 10 years ago (edited 10 years ago) hello, i have some problems to bind correctly my keys. i m under linux, and i m french, ... sorry ;) when i try to bind, draw key, in game with standard lua interface, Spring say : Error: KeySet: Bad keysym: asterisk Warning: Bind: could not parse key: asterisk i have same error with lot of other keys. i don t know how to resolve this issues. +0 / -0

CarRepairer 10 years ago Hi. I could update the game to recognize hotbinding the "asterisk." You will have to wait until the next stable version, but when that happens you can uncheck "use uikeys" and try again. The problem is I don't have the ability to bind asterisk on my keyboard to test it. I have an asterisk above my 8 key but it comes out to shift+number8. The asterisk in my numberpad is "numpad*" so I don't know how it comes out for you. This would be much easier if you find me in the lobby and we can discuss. What I'd need to see is a screenshot after you bind this mysterious asterisk, like this: Using that info I can update the game to work. +0 / -0
